Create and share a form
A project groups related work. A form is the page you share to ask questions. Responses are the answers people submit. Visitors do not need creator accounts to submit a Public form.
Build#
- Create or select an active project.
- Open Forms and choose Create a form.
- Set a title, description and unique lowercase address.
- Add one to eight questions. Choose short text, paragraph, email, website, number, choice, rating or date.
- Mark questions required or optional. Choice questions need two to eight choices.
- Pick a theme or gradient and check the live preview. On mobile, switch between Edit and Preview.
- Arrange the cover, introduction and questions with the drag grips or Move up and Move down. Submission controls stay last. Choose width, alignment and spacing, and move individual questions using their stable identifiers.
- Save the form to keep the design and order. Changing colours does not reset your arrangement.
Share#
Choose Public and save. Use Share form on its card or in the editor to copy the saved visitor URL. It looks like app.campfold.io/creatorhub/u/your-form. The sharing panel also lets you open that exact saved link.
You do not need to create or publish a creator page first. A visitor opens the link, answers the questions and chooses Submit. A saved confirmation means the response was retained. Submission does not subscribe the visitor to marketing email.
Draft is private. Members is the older signed-in-creator mode. Do not share a Draft or Members link with a general audience. To withdraw a public form, select Draft and save.
After answers arrive#
Open Responses, select the form and choose Review response on a reply. Save a private status and note about what to do next. You do not need to create a Table to review an answer.
The address and question definitions become fixed after a response or saved table exists, preserving the meaning of past answers. You can still reorder the same questions, move layout sections, and change description, appearance and visibility. Answers and saved table columns retain their original question identifiers. Use Duplicate to create a new Draft when you need different questions, then choose a new address and save.
Submission protection#
Public forms use short-lived signed visitor credentials, same-origin checks, request limits and server validation. They do not expose other people's responses. Forms have finite retained-answer capacity: 1,000 per form, 5,000 per creator and 25,000 across the service. These are shared operational limits, not paid-plan entitlements. A full form stops accepting new answers while preserving existing answers. Archiving does not free retained capacity. Contact Campfold for review rather than repeatedly creating replacement forms.
If a tab has been open a long time, reload the form before retrying. After an uncertain submission, use the same page and request rather than repeatedly starting new submissions.
